Please consider the following if you wish to order a custom illustration:
- I do not and will not work for exposure or for free. (Please do not disrespect other artists/creatives by asking for the same.)
- Detailed description of what you would like illustrated. (As you can tell, I love details.)
- Would you be able to provide reliable, copyright-free, reference photos for me to work from? (Significantly reduces timeline).
- Creating a sketch of your idea takes communication, understanding your project, and conceptual time. Emailing your sketch and ideas gives me a great idea of what you are envisioning. A simple sketch will save significant time! (Optional).
- Prices increase based off of copyright usage and adoption as well as overall use/purpose of the illustration (e.g. is this a gift, an illustration or design for a publication, or is this a logo or illustration associated with your company?).
- Are you looking to own the original illustration or a high-quality scan of the artwork?
- Are you looking for an illustration done in traditional or digital media? In color or in black and white?
- Any specific artistic style or level of detail you prefer?
- Your estimated budget.
- Ideal deadline.
